Ordered two dwarf butterfly bushes and didnt realize it wasnt money back guarantee. Received the order, two 3/4 dead plants, small for 29.99 each. Called customer service and a few weeks later i received two replacement plants, these were 2/3 dead, discolored, not good. I called customer service and again was told no money return so they promised two more plants. 3 weeks later they arrived, 3/4 alive but very small and not really promising for 29.99. I would never NEVER order from them again. My neighbor ordered thru QVC and was able to get her money back. Im out 60 dollars.

Problems with hibiscus plants

I purchased 2 hibiscus bare root plants from QVC back in February They arrived in April and I planted both of them in 2 containers. One plant has green leaves but also has white growths that look like mushrooms. Is that part of the plant? The other plant did nothing. The roots are the same as when I planted them. NOTHINF!! I am vey unsatisfied with these plants. Hope you can help me with this problem

Replace a hydrangea tree ordered 3/26/2022

It arrived extremely dried out !!! I soaked it for overnight. I then planted it! The tree part proved to be dead. In late August a sprout came up from the bottom. I have always had a good experience with QVC and Cottage Farms but I have called customer service and have been on hold and they never respond. I am very disappointed with the Tropical Hibiscus Tree that I received today. I have pictures lif you want to see it. The leaves are yellow. The flowers/buds were mushy. The trees were not coiled over and over. Just once and then wrapped with tape to keep together I read I could return it but I had to pay for the return. Doesn't seem right since I am not the one who sent this mess. The box was in poor condition and had to be cut open to get the tree out. I think I should get another tree. I bought frost proof gardenias in October of 2021. They are both dead and the company refused to reimburse or offer an exchange or store credit. They said they only have a 3 month warranty which, is unacceptable when buying plants. Most plants are warrantied for 1 year. I will never buy from these people again and I would advise caution when dealing with these people.

I ordered the "Ring of Fire" Mini Rose 3-piece. How disappointed I was when the product arrived. I opened the container and couldn't believe I paid for the items I was looking at. All three pieces looked dead and there were more leaves in the shipping container than on the roses. I have ordered flowers and plants online multiple times, from multiple vendors, and have never received a product this bad. I will not buy from this company again, and do not recommend them to my family or friends. I attempted to nurture the three pieces the next few days after shipment, which did nothing, and the roses continued to deteriorate. I did not request a refund as I advised the company I would instead recommend to my family and friends not to buy from this company.

I ordered a plant they sent me the wrong plant I contacted the company asked if they can replace it they told me no its the right plant yet I bought it to my local nursery they told me thats not the plant you received and used a plant finder app that also claimed it was not the right plant because I ordered it through Zulily I called and complain to them and they refunded my money and then stupidly I ordered a different plant and when they bloomed theyre not the plant I ordered at all Im not wasting my time calling because I know they wont help me I will never order from cottage Farms again!!!

Poor Customer Service

These two Pistachio Hydrangeas, were smaller than expected for the 5.5" container. The problem with the order is that the box was 2-3 times too big for the 2 plants; they were left in a manner that they could roll around in the box and shift from end-to-end in the box. The tops of both Pistachio's besides appearing they were grown in a manner which did not allow them to grow in height, and because of the manner in which they were shipped the tops were smashed and most of the dirt was in the box - not the plant container upon arrival. Not a doubt in my mind - for six days - these two pistachio's traveled from Alabama to Kentucky on their head. Very poor quality control and very poor packing for shipment; the external of the box should be marked "this end up."

Bulbs rotten inside of packaging.

I ordered alliums from QVC, they came in good shape, but I opened the package to let the bulbs get air while waiting for spring planting. Inside of two weeks of receiving bulbs, they were mush and rotten. Had to throw them out. I have been requesting QVC and cottage farms to put planting zones on the TV shows when they show info about the plants and bulbs they are offering. They do mention planting zones for a split second during the shows, but if it gets missed, you are just plain out of luck. This happened to me several times and was just out of the items I wanted to grow. I asked the folks at QVC to put that info when they list the product on the air, but that never happened, and I sent many emails to cottage farms and got NO RESPONSES EVER. They still to this day do not put any zonal info on the screen. That is important into that needs to be known to growers who are interested in a particular item. For that reason, I QUIT ordering any plant items from Cottage farms and QVC. If they don't listen to customer requests what good are they and how is their reputation going to last that way.............
